Happy Happy New Year!
Ok so, I'm about 9 days late! I've been so excited preparing for all that 2017 has in store that I haven't been online much. 2016 ended quietly, and 2017 was brought in full of peace and quiet (just the way I like it!)
I love this season of new beginnings, goals, and resolutions. The air is electric with expectancy as people collectively focus their energies in a positive direction. So of course I had to jump back on the blog to share with you this awesome challenge I've signed up to be apart of! I first heard of the Kindness challenge at a womens meeting at church. As I listened to Shaunti Feldhahn explain what was in her heart for the Kindness Challenge I immediately knew this was something amazing, and that I wanted to be apart of it. I knew that my life, and my world could definitely benefit from some intentional kindness.
2016 was an incredibly difficult year for me personally and in the world as a whole. There was so much crisis and devastation that hit entirely too close to many of our homes and communities. There was racial tension, economic crisis, ISIS, and numerous natural disasters. Last year was so rough that I've seen video clips portraying the year 2016 as a horror movie! We are definitely in need of some change.
So bring on the Kindess!
Here's a quick video that sums up the challenge.
I love that this challenge has the possibilites of causing a positive ripple effect in our homes, neighborhoods, and communities! This is such a unique opportunity to challenge the negativity that we see in the world all around us. I hope you'll join me! The challenge is FREE and starts on January 16 and ends on February 14. During the challenge I'll be doing some Facebook lives and Instagram stories sharing my experience with you.
Make sure you follow me here and here, so you dont miss a thing!
Then head over and and sign up here. (It's FREE)
I'll be reading the book as well, you don't have to purchase in order to participate but if you would like to dig deeper you can find the book at the link below.
I'm so excited to share with you and hear about your experience with the challenge as well. Stay tuned!
